Welcome Back!
Your Village Quilters Board is ready to welcome you back to monthly in-person meetings!
First up, on September 10th at 10am, we are bringing back a favorite quilter and teacher, Peggy Martin. She is always such an inspiration with her colorful quilts and her design ideas and tricks to make difficult-looking techniques easier.
Our programs this year will feature 2 of our very own members who consistently wow us with the quilts they share. Barbara Hartsuyker will present a trunk show in October as will Terry Seaburg in January. We have a guest coming in November, Grace Errea, who is planning to offer a 3 hour workshop at the library immediately following the regular meeting. There will be more details about this at this month’s meeting, and soon on our website as well. In the meantime you can watch a couple of YouTube videos about her technique.
If the idea of finding interesting guest speakers appeals to you, please consider taking over as Program Chair! You don’t have to do it alone. Your best friend can help, the Guild president and board will help too. Our current chair, Marilyn Kirschen, had to step down due to family matters.
