January 2023

Terry Seaburg and her prize winning Baltimore Quilt

A creative Start to 2023!

Village Quilters Guild might be small in numbers, but we sure have some accomplished quilters in our group. This month at our meeting on January 14 one of those talented quilters, Terry Seaburg, is going to present a trunk show of about 20 quilts and describe the different techniques she used in making them. She is a hand quilter who loves paper piecing and appliqué, and hopes her presentation will inspire us to try something new!

Next month, our February 11 meeting will feature 4 or 5 of our members demonstrating and teaching different techniques, projects and crafts. We call it “School House”, as we break into groups and spend 15-20 minutes with each station. It is always fun with new ideas and tips to bring into your sewing rooms.

Bring a friend to one of our meetings! Guests are always welcome, and while our meetings are free to the public, we do ask a for a $5 donation to help with our costs.
